We are a family owned and operated business and have been since the founding in 1929.  With this in mind we have learning to treat/service our customers and employees in the same manner that the owners would like to be treated.

We view the business no only as a business, but also as one that must be challenging, fun professionally managed, financially prudent, and managed with a vision.

We are a values based company.  Our values are to be Fair, Flexible, Market and Customer Driven, Dedicated, Responsible, and committed to Teamwork.   Our employees developed this list of words and their definitions.  We want every employee to challenge all actions and decisions if they do not live up to the spirit of our values.  No one in this company is above the values.

The Purpose:
To develop, design, manufacture and sell tinplate packaging, flat sheet metal decorating and related products.  We want to meld the structure and design (physical or artistic) requirements to meet our customers’ expectations and enhance the customers’ “Brand Development”.

In the accomplishment of our task, the employees of Independent Can Company are the most important assets, The express Goal of the management is to provide a challenging, dynamic, innovative demanding and friendly environment.

All employees of Independent Can are expected to show respect for all other employees and have a commitment to make Independent Can the best company it can be.  Employees must set high standards for themselves and have the right to expect the same from their co-workers and management.
